Op 26 januari 2025 werd de zinderende regiofinale van FIRST LEGO League gehouden bij Wings in Roermond. Als scheidsrechter had ik het voorrecht om met mijn neus bovenop de actie te zitten, en actie was er zeker!
25 Teams van jonge, getalenteerde bouwers en programmeurs stonden te popelen om hun maandenlange werk te laten zien. Elk team had zijn eigen unieke aanpak en creativiteit, wat resulteerde in een spannende strijd.
Maar FIRST LEGO League draait niet alleen om competitie. Samenwerking, innovatie, sportiviteit en respect staan centraal, en dat was duidelijk te zien. Het enthousiasme was aanstekelijk en was overal voelbaar, bij de deelnemers én bij de supporters en toeschouwers.
Kortom, de regiofinale van FIRST LEGO League in Roermond was een groot succes, vol actie, samenwerking en stapels plezier. Wat een topdag!
On January 26, 2025, the thrilling regional final of FIRST LEGO League was held at Wings in Roermond. As a referee, I had the privilege of being right in the middle of the action, and there was certainly a lot of it!
25 Teams of young, talented builders and programmers were eager to show their months of hard work. Each team had its own unique approach and creativity, resulting in an exciting competition.
But FIRST LEGO League is not just about competition. Cooperation, innovation, sportsmanship, and respect take center stage, and this was clearly visible. The enthusiasm was contagious and could be felt everywhere: participants, supporters, and spectators.
