Bricks-and-More is één van de grootste evenementen van de BeNeLux met bouwsteentjes in de hoofdrol en wordt jaarlijks gehouden in Geel (B).
Dit jaar hadden Sander van Kreijl (van Studio NOP) en ik de eer om de BAM set 2023 te ontwerpen.
De set is zowat alles waar Bricks-and-More en Stad Geel voor staan: patroonheilige Dimpna, monumenten uit Geel en Ten Aard, en de Thomas More campus waar Bricks-and-More plaatsvindt.
En dat alles in 329 steentjes.
Daarnaast heeft het ontwerp nog een paar verrassingen in petto die op het eerste gezicht niet zo opvallen: we zouden onszelf niet zijn als er geen beweging in zou zitten. En met het doosje maak je van de set een wenskaart om hem aan een dierbare te schenken.
Bricks-and-More is one of the largest events in the Benelux featuring building bricks as the main attraction and is held annually in Geel (B).
This year, Sander van Kreijl (from Studio NOP) and I had the honor of designing the BAM set 2023.
The set represents everything that Bricks-and-More and the City of Geel stand for: the patron saint Dimpna, monuments from Geel and Ten Aard, and the Thomas More campus where Bricks-and-More takes place.
All of this in 329 blocks.
Additionally, the design has a few surprises that may not be immediately obvious: we wouldn't be ourselves if there wasn't some movement involved. And with the box, you can turn the set into a greeting card to give to a loved one.
