Ook dit jaar komen scholieren uit Roermond naar de VVV tijdens hun culturele tocht door de binnenstad van Roermond tijdens opROER, het jaarlijkse cultuurevenement. Voor opROER ontwierp ik miniaturen van de carillonbeelden van het Stadhuis van Roermond voor een bouwchallenge.
Deze beelden verwijzen naar de historie van Roermond: de Bisschop, de Smid, de Kleermaker, de Orgeldraaier, de Vorstin, de Papierschepper, de Bouwmeester en de Nar.
De challenge? De stenen liggen aan de ene kant van de Markt, de bouwinstructies aan de andere kant...

Students from Roermond will once again visit the VVV (tourist information) during their cultural journey through the city center of Roermond during opROER, the annual cultural event. For opROER, I designed miniatures of the carillon figures from the Town Hall of Roermond for a building challenge.
These figures refer to the history of Roermond: the Bishop, the Blacksmith, the Tailor, the Organ Player, the Queen, the Papermaker, the Architect, and the Jester.
The challenge? The bricks are on one side of the market square, the building instructions on the other side...
