On June 4, 2024, Kuehne+Nagel and the LEGO Group officially opened their second Regional Distribution Center in Europe. During the festive opening, the model we designed was unveiled with the push of a button by the Executive Vice President Contract Logistics of Kuehne+Nagel, the COO of the LEGO Group and the mayor of Tessenderlo, among others.
The model shows the essence of Kuehne+Nagel's activities in miniature form. From the impressive warehouse to the accurately recreated trucks and loading docks, the cars and pallet trucks: every element of the Regional Distribution Center has been recreated as realistically as possible.
With 67,500 bricks, over 6 m2, 300 unique elements and 30 colors a truly unique and colorful build, on a 1:116 scale.
And what can be done on a large scale can also be done on a small scale: on 0.04 m2 and with only 588 elements, we also made a micro version for the client's desk.
Het Laatste Nieuws, vrt nws, and Het Belang van Limburg covered the opening of the Regional Distribution Center and published photos of the model.
